Our extensive team of consultants and trainers are all experienced managers, selected for their extensive knowledge and skills. Each holds vocational qualifications in their area of expertise, along with adult teaching qualifications. With our network of over 100 tutors throughout the UK, we can provide for all your training needs, nationwide. A selection of our tutors includes:

Del Harries

Del has over 18 years experience of working in social care settings. As well as extensive service-management experience, he has a background in training and consultancy around Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disability and Brain Injury. His area of specialism is supporting behaviours that challenge services. Del also delivers training in topics such as Dementia, mental Health, SOVA, Mental Capacity and DoLS. Del is an Associate Trainer for Age UK (formerly Age Concern) and the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (Bild) and an Approved Trainer for Swansea Social Services

Lynn Page, BA (Hons), MSc, CSQW

Lynn is a qualified social worker, focused on childrens services and family care. Initially the focus of her work was at a Family Centre where she undertook assessments and preventative direct work with parents and children which included child protection and legal orders. For the last six years Lynn has worked within the adotpion agency of a local authority with her work involving assessing prospective adopters, keyworking looked-after children and family finding for children; alongside this has been the increased focus of kinship care assessments, where, when possible, children who cannot be returned to birth parents, alternative permanent care within the extended family occurs. Group work has been an integral part of Lynns practice focusing upon parenting groups for birth parents and their children, as well as specialist children's groups. Lynn currently trains prospective adopters as well as providing a range of other social work and safegaurding training.

Karen Abram, BA, CSQW

Karen is a qualified social worker and solicitor and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the legal framework and aspects of all social care

Janis Young

Jan teaches a wide range of subjects, including First Aid, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Working with Dementia Sufferers, Risk Assessment and Manual and Moving and Handling. Jan's background is varied and includes management roles in various care settings, public house management and setting up in-house training for a large housing association. Jan has her 7404 and 7303 training and teaching qualifications, along with a wide variety of other accreditations and qualifications.

Tom Johnson RMN FIATAM

Tom Johnson RMN FIATAM is a qualified and experienced psychiatric nurse and manager. Tom teaches in many aspects of health and care and his specialist field is in personal safety and the management of conflict and aggression. Tom is a full member of the Institute of Conflict Management, body for the Personal Safety, as well as a Fellow of The International Association of Trainers in Aggression Management (IATAM).

Doral Hayes, BA (Hons), FRSH, CIM

Doral has worked in many roles including management within the commercialand care sector for the last 14 years. She holds a BA (Hons) in Health and Community Studies and started her career in health education before moving into social supprt roles and project management. She holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing, is a Licensed Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, is registered to use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator as well as holding a Diploma in Performance Coaching (Business).
